Iris Ceramica Group’s US division Stonepeak is selected to attend NIAF’s 48th Anniversary Gala.

This year, the National Italian-American Foundation (NIAF) named Emilia-Romagna as the Region of Honor 2023.
As part of Iris Ceramica Group, Stonepeak Ceramics was invited to NIAF’s exclusive 48th Anniversary Gala which took place in Washington DC on Saturday, October 14.

Stonepeak is proud to have been selected among many other porcelain manufacturers of the region to attend this remarkable event, to acknowledge this important recognition for Emilia Romagna, and to celebrate the Italian and American traditions, heritage, and connections.

During this long weekend event, we also had the honor of meeting other distinguished leaders in business, politics, and cultural associations and sharing with them our accomplishments and ongoing dedication to the American market.

On Friday, October 13, our company represented by our CFO and VP Massimo Fiorini, attended a networking meeting with the executive team of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the world’s largest business organization representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses around the world. On this occasion, we discussed our long-term relationship with the Chamber of Commerce of Crossville, Tennessee, and other local and state authorities, addressing opportunities and threats of our industry, and reaffirming our commitment to keep investing in innovation and sustainability and the US market.

On Friday evening, we were invited to attend the exclusive reception hosted by the Ambassador of Italy to the United States, Mariangela Zappia, at her private residence Villa Firenze, joining leaders in business, politics, and cultural associations among whom the President of Regione Emilia Romagna, Stefano Bonaccini.

The event culminated with NIAF’s Annual Gala on Saturday, October 14, at the Omni Shoream Hotel in Washington DC, an incredible evening during which we honored and celebrated Italian excellence and culture and where Emilia Romagna was awarded Region of Honor 2023. During the evening, we were also joined by President Joe Biden who made a surprise speech introduced by the first Italian-American First Lady, Jill Biden.
